    Budget sandbag

    In a stroke of genius I thought of using a yoga ball filled with water to act as a budget sandbag.

    This ball was super cheap while still seeming to be top of the line and advertising itself as "antiburst"

    The little hand/foot pump works when fully submerged in water but I recomend being patient with it. I pumped too quickly causing the valves to pop off and wasn't able to get it back together. It takes MUCH longer filling it with just the hose and a funnel.

    Training with it is a lot of fun. It's great as a heavy "odd object" for hinging, squats and carries but it's almost impossible to press or row. I think when combined with upper body calisthenics you can get good, full body training cheaper than any gym.

    I've got the ball about half full at the moment and it's held up very well to being tossed around and dropped from shoulder height without any leaks. Just be careful not to grab where the pin is, but you can probably glue it in place when you've got it as full as you want it.

    By my calculations, this thing should be able to hold 140litres of air/water when full. You wouldn't be able to go that full if you still wanted it to deform but 100-120kg for less than 20 bucks makes it one of the best pieces of home gym equipment for back, grip and leg development. I highly recommend it.
